The Oncology Service has been proud to offer cutting edge treatment service for veterinary cancer patients in the Washington Metropolitan area since 1998. Our team, composed of board certified medical and radiation oncologists, hospitalists, and residents, seek to provide treatment options that meet the specific needs of each pet-owner family based on the goals, side effects, and costs (financial, time, and emotional) involved. In some cases, the input of additional specialists can be arranged to provide our patients the best, most comprehensive care available. In many cases, active involvement of the primary care veterinarian is also encouraged throughout a pet’s therapy for continuity of care. In addition, as a service to our referral community, our group is also available for consultations to help guide you with your difficult oncology cases.
